THE EVENT
Visionaries, decision-makers and changemakers gathered under a canopy of stars for the Melbourne Autumn Ball. Hosted by Eric Bana, in collaboration with Seeker Agency, Harry the Hirer and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the gala marked the beginning of a new era, bringing together Victoria’s business and government communities for a magical night of enchantment, elegance and connection.
WHAT WE SERVED
We were tasked with crafting a premium cocktail that would appeal to every guest; elegant, accessible and fit for a luxury gala. Our answer: a fresh cucumber gimlet, made with same-day pressed cucumber juice and Gallivanter Gin from Ballarat. Served in a classic coupe by bartenders dressed in tailored black bow tie and Mister Bartender’s limited-edition white service suits, the cocktail was delivered with quiet precision, reflecting the refinement of the evening.
THE RESULT
We served 350 cucumber gimlets with speed, style and not a single drop out of place. With just one drink on the menu, execution mattered. From batching to garnish, every element was calibrated to meet the standard of a five-star gala experience. For Mister Bartender, it was an honour to contribute to a milestone night and marked the beginning of our relationship with one of the city’s most prestigious venues.
